The Breed Book

When the CEB decided in 2005 to adopt the Livre d'élevage de l'épagneul breton (Epagneul breton breed book), it got a very useful tool for everyone who wants to choose sires with the best information.

The Breed Book is a very important database about our favourite breed, including more than 2,000 champions or rated dogs and more than 32,000 L.O.F ancestors or descendants.

For each dog are mentionned its hip dysplasia rating, the titles it owns, its awards in field trials or shows. Links allow, every time it is possible, the consultation of the dog ascendants and descendants profiles and provide a good idea of the genotypic qualities of its lineage.

Unfortunately for english speaking people, the Breed book is in French. But with the few translation tips below, you would not experiment any difficulty to consult it.
